This episode was bound to happen because people effing LOVE The Simpsons, and I'm so pleased that it happened with gem-of-a-person Amy Thompson. She's such a sweetheart that I dare you not to be warmed by her silly antics in this conversation. I haven't seen much Simpsons (I know, I know...) so I can't get too deep into references and such with Amy, so I try to unpack why the iconic show IS so iconic and, of course, why it means so much to her.
