After growing up in the area as a fan of Pryor & Cosby, Bill Bullock has now spent many years in the Chicago comedy community and thinks a ton about finding one's way through it. From being asked if he wanted to go up for the first time at Cole's open mic by then-host Cameron Esposito because he'd been showing up week after week without actually going on stage to booking an agent after a recent appearance at the Laugh Factory, Bill has had many ups and downs while usually balancing a job or three in a city that doesn't have much to offer its performers in the professional realm. We discuss a lot of the good and bad about getting your comedy chops honed in Chicago and the more common it becomes to see your "elders" and peers set off for the coasts for bigger things.
Bill's Twitter is @BillRBullock, and you should be following it for jokes and plugs.
