Six years ago, Chicago designer Mike Joosse challenged himself to create a playlist a week. Out of that project was born a fascination with the soul genre, something Mike had never really dived into before. What started off as a 10-song list on Spotify grew into a project of its own, and this week, Mike presents an edited version of the first half of his current "This Is Soul" playlist, talks about the process of curation, and digs into what soul means to him. It's awesome.
